Stunning views from the coastline.  From the misty shorelines with pastel colours and textures, to sailing boats in the distance fighting for the lead, to tranquil sunrises, and images of a loan fisherman...

Having always wanting to visit and experience the Parthenon at the Acropolis  this did not disappoint.  I tried my best to capture the true essence of the buildings and architecture, whilst trying to get your head around the fact it was in excess of 2,500 years old!!!

Another "must see" was the temple of Poseidon.  It stood proud at the top of the mountainside overlooking the turquoise Agean Sea... with so little time I had to work fast to capture as much as I possibly could whilst again being totally blown away by the history...

After seeing this Meteora online and knowing it was possible we decided that it was a must see!! After a 4 hour road trip to get there... it simply blew us away!! It's simply beautiful and awe inspiring!!  The scale and size of this place is set off by the Monasteries perched at the top of the clifftops... enjoy! 

Images taken inside this the largest of the Monasteries at Meteora.  After the many steps it took to get to the entrance we were met with breathtaking views of the surrounding rocks and other monasteries plus the ornate and historic interiors again had to be seen to be believed.
