I am currently living in Suffolk, England. It is not too far from the coast and I love the country side and the beauty that it brings throughout the changing seasons.
My primary job is a Financial Advisor which I love, but use photography as a way to relax, unwind and release my creativity.
I've always loved taking pictures, and I am always the one in the family that's left behind everyone else whilst I try to find the angle and composition I want. But, you can never have too many memories right? Even whilst taking photos with my smartphone I have always had a passion for capturing things in my own style and editing them to my own taste. With my family and friends constantly telling me that I do take a good photo and with a passion to learn more and to improve further back in 2020, I took the plunge and invested in some decent gear. Thats not to say that I will stop using my iPhone as if I am out and about as this can also yield some beautiful images.
I enjoy photographing a wide variety of subjects. from landscapes and people to pets and cars. I am constantly learning new techniques and ways to create and with so much to learn its going to keep me happy for many years to come, and who knows where it will take me.
I have recently had some of my work chosen and Published in Envyd Magazine. This is something all photographers dream of, seeing their work in print for the world to see.
I will always be looking for that next image which is always just around the next corner...

After starting off my humble journey with 2 Fujifilm APS-C cameras I then wanted a full frame camera with much better auto-focus capabilities. I chose the Sony A7iii, but recently moved to the Sony A7Cii. This an absolute powerhouse and I love it!!
I have invested in a variety of quality glass... Sigma 24-70 f2.8 Art, Samyang 85mm f1.4 ii, Sigma 70-200 f2.8 Sports, and Tamron 150-500 f5-6.7.
In time I will be adding a quality wide-angle zoom, probably a Sigma 16-28 f2.8 as this will come in handy for landscapes and architecture.
Being a portrait fan I also invested in the Godox TT-350s plus Godox X-Pro transmitter. This is still a massive challenge learning the art of flash photography. Other bits and bobs include an L-Plate, eyepiece extension are nice little additions which make shooting so much more comfortable plus a magnetic CPL for each lens as I now know how essential it is to cut through those reflections! Also a range of magnetic ND filters to allow me to experiment with long exposures and different lighting conditions. I still have my DJI Mavic Mini drone which is still a lovely addition, and love the creativity this brings, although now really wanting something that has more range and can take RAW images! Some things just have to wait though right!!
Future plans...?
As I am still learning new techniques all the time I would love to branch into automotive or dog photography so this definitely on the list for 2026... I always love progressing my knowledge, learning new techniques and squeezing out every single bit of creativity with what I have got!!

This was my first full frame lens. I have always wanted a 24-70 2.8 so this was the perfect start. It's a great lens that is on my camera most of the time.
Its constant f2.8 aperture gives you great results throughout the zoom range. A really versatile lens that is incredibly Sharpe, and costs approx. half the price of the Sony G Master!!
I have used this for many projects and really looking forward to using it more throughout 2026.
I purchased the 82mm K&F Concept Magnetic filters and keep the CPL (Polariser) on it all the time as a real help in reducing glare, contrast, and reflections. This is the largest filter thread size so with some step up rings can easily use the same filters on all the lenses...
This was definitely the best first lens when I swapped to Sony Full Frame!!!

Shortly after purchasing the 24-70 I then invested in a decent but affordable 85mm f1.4. This I absolutely love for producing those buttery smooth blurred backgrounds!
After watching many photography videos on YouTube I decided this was the best in the lower price ranges, and I have to say it really is a lovely lens!
I used it during my project of photographing the tattoo artists at the local studio. It really allows you to isolate the subject and highlight what it is you are shooting. I also use a CPL as above and also have the adapter rings to be able to utilise the set of filters including ND filters if needed.
It has also been used for shooting cars and portraits of our dogs... something that I would love to get more practise at this year!
A worthy addition to allow me to tell my story the way want!

With me wanting to get closer to the action I decided to invest in a Telephoto zoom. I had always wanted a zoom lends that would allow me to capture motorsport and wildlife. This has allowed me to do just that!!
My first trip out was to Colchester Zoo. It did not disappoint with some amazing images from all across the zoo!! I have also captured some excellent images in my local area using the extra reach for birds, ducks and even using the short focusing distance to capture some forest flowers too.
Next on the list was motorsport... a day spent at the Snetterton Race Circuit, in Norfolk gave the lens and my limited experience a great work out. Teams from the Porsche Carrera Cup GB were there and again obtained some excellent tack sharp images.
Other plans are to look at some experience in aviation photography and planning to head to some local airbases to see what I can produce there...
It has been a fantastic addition to my growing kit list and thoroughly enjoy using it... don't forget to take a look in the gallery for some examples!!

Shortly after purchasing my first what I would call "proper" camera my knowledge grew extremely quickly... so learning about the staple lens's that most photographers use on a daily basis...
The 70-200 f2.8 was a must have... after extensive research it was really clear that the Sigma Lens produced nearly as good results as the equivalent Sony G Master... and as I do not have a bottomless pot of money it was a no brainer to invest in the Sigma.
I wanted this for the versatility and constant wide aperture to bring that ability to "compress" the foreground and background together to be able to produce some stunning results.
This capability I want to utilise in automotive photography, wildlife, and anywhere else where I need that little extra reach...
There will not be too many images with this in the gallery but please come back soon as I intend to be using this lens... A LOT!!

So, wanting to take the next step, I wanted to be able to offer my images for sale. To do this I needed something that would offer professional grade prints that I could manage myself at home, and that also could print A3+ size!
After much research and considering everything from the quality, cost of the consumables inc paper I took the plunge and purchased a Canon Pro-310. This ticks all the boxes, and will allow me to offer an exceptionally good print with ink that is apparently guaranteed to last 200 years without fading (who would be able to verify that is beyond me!).
I have invested in the best quality Canon matt and glossy papers again to ensure the very best quality in a size that people may want...
After some test prints I am stunned and really pleased with the results and look forward to be able to offer my work for sale...
This will be done initially by contacting me either directly on here (just click on the contact page) or a direct message one my Facebook Page or Instagram... just click one of the links below!!

I think every photographers ambition would be to see their work acknowledged and in print!
In 2025 I had my first images selected and published. A massive shoutout and thank you to Envyd Magazine for choosing me, and my work as their cover artist plus be included in several different themes.
I have found this a very humbling experience and to have my work out there and being enjoyed by a larger and wider audience makes me extremely proud. It has given me confidence to learn more and shoot more!!! Click here to see my post celebrating my achievement...
